Rotary kiln, Rocksavage

This is part of a chemicals plant, and I have no idea what process this rotary kiln is used for. I have not seen one before in a chemicals plant. A combination of clouds which largly covered the sun, which just broke through a gap to light up the plant, while most of the sky was still blue, has produced a remarkable colour contrast. Taken on the day out with David and Pieter.
